About RogueRogue Shaper, Lance Erickson
Lance Erickson brings over 40 years of surfing and board building experience to the Rogue Family. Lance caught his first wave at age 10 in 1966 at Rat’s beach in Torrance, CA. To say it was love at first sight would be an understatement. Lance was hooked! 3 years later Lance had shaped and glassed his first board at the young age of 13. Realizing his talent and love as a craftsmen it’s no wonder Lance has shaped and glassed for some of the times most influential board builders. Lighting Bolt, Local Motion, Ben Aipa, Tropical Blends, Hobie and Stussy are just a few. Now residing in Dana Point, CA, Lance has lived and surfed all over the world taking experience and knowledge from each of the locations. 
Married for over 27 years to Dolly Erickson, Lance and Dolly have raised 4 children and currently are having the time of their life with their 2 grandchildren. Addicted to SUP, Lance and Dolly love the fact they can get out on the water together and share the love for the water. Whether he’s in the shaping room, out in the line up or training in the harbor one thing’s for sure, Lance loves to Stand Up Paddle and he brings that enthusiasm and love to each and every one of his finely crafted boards.
